Area Description

The Tarentaise valley in the Rhone-Alps region of France is a beautiful place for a perfect summer holiday, with warm temperatures throughout July and August in the mid 70’s. The valley offers spectacular and lush scenery, with wild flowers, fresh mountain air and a multitude of leisure activities for all tastes and age groups.

Situated on a road which winds up from Bourg St Maurice to the Petit St Bernard Pass, La Rosière is an attractive, charming village. Close to the Vanoise National Park, Mt. Blanc and Italy, there is a good choice of summer activities with fantasic scenery.
